The four ringed car brand is enjoying its success in the Indian car industry. Audi received a very good response and now the company is planning to increase the dealership network in the country. The luxury car manufacturer which currently cleaves to 20 percent of market share in the luxury car segment is aimed to reach 30 percent by 2011.
Presently Audi has 11dealership across the country which will be expanded to Lucknow, Jaipur, Coimbatore and Nagpur. The car manufacturer has also ventured into a deal with Jubilant Motors for appointing dealers in Southern market. Currently Jubilant Motors have set up an exclusive showroom in Bangalore and their second dealership in Chennai which will start is operations by 2010.
The competition among the luxury car manufacturers is growing in India. Recently BMW overtook the number one position from Mercedes-Benz in India and now Audi is too on the same lane.Here is the good news for the luxury car lovers. The four ringed brand Audi will be rolling out the all new Q7 to the market. The striking SUV will come with minor changes which includes revamped grille, twisted lights with Audi’s Led technology. The bumper too gets a little touch.
Though the sales of the upgraded Audi Q7 is already seen in the European market, the Indian will have to wait for a year again as the right hand allotment for Indian car market will be seen only by 2010.
Or the upgraded version the car manufacturer has developed a clean diesel version which sports a 3.0-litre. This engine uses an AdBlue catalyst which is said to be Euro VI complaint. The possibility of this version coming to India is still a mystery.
Audi Q7 is a great asset to the Indian market and after hearing the news on the upgraded version of this dashing SUV definitely the Q7 fans will eagerly await its launch.
Audi R8 the super luxury sports car bagged the title “Classics of the Future 2009,” by a Motor Klassik magazine. The “Classics of the Future” prize is which is awarded every two years is decided based on the readers participating the poll.
The Audi R8 is considered as one of the cars with great potential with a unique class and elegance. This is the fourth time that the German trade journal has organized readers’ poll. From the year 1979 out of 78 models some of which have already become genuine classics were also the choice of the readers who choose from 168 current models in seven categories.
As a mark of this celebrating this prize, the four ringed car brand will offer another classic of Audi R8 which will be powered by a 10-cylinder engine.
It is not just Audi R8 who scored in the show; Audi A6 too was in the third position in the category of “full-size car of the modern age”.
Audi R8 shines on the Indian roads too and it is matter of pride that the Indian car market has Classics of the Future in its stable.
