Volvo Car India is planning to introduce 25 SUVs as special edition. This special edition SUVs will be introduced in support with the Volvo Ocean Race. All the 25 models will be completely imported to India. In India the company shines with its models like Volvo C70, Volvo S8o and XC 90.

The 'Green car' concept is is spreading its wings widely. Some car manufacturer have already rolled and some are working. Recently, the Indian car major introduced Green Cabs in Andra Pradesh. Maruti M800 AC Duo powered by LPG has been used as green cabs.

In line with all the car manufacturers including Maruti, Hyundai, and Honda, Tata Motors and Ford have also announced price cut across their range of car models in the Indian car market.
The decision to cut down the car prices is credited to the reduction in the excise duty rates announced by the government. Excitingly, Tata has reduced the prices of Indigo and Indica in the range of Rs 12,000 and Rs 23,000, depending on the variants. And the prices of Tata Safari and Tata Sumo are reduced in the range of Rs 17,000 and Rs 23,000.
After almost all the car manufacturers slashing down car prices, even Ford followed the trend and announced a 3% reduction in the car prices. All the Ford cars including the Fusion, Fiesta, and Endeavour will be now cheaper with the car prices lowered in the range of Rs 17,500 to Rs 54,000.
